Ahh, the beloved cheat meal. Cheat meals are schedules meals that include indulgent foods that wouldn’t ordinarily be permitted on your diet. A cheat day is when you allow yourself to consumer any and all foods you want over an entire day. In other words… cheat days are everyone’s favourite days. They bring happiness. They bring joy. One of the most frequently asked questions we receive is if customers can have a couple of cheat meals or day whilst undertaking their Thinco program and this article is here to address the question.
If you are undertaking Thinco’s VLC Program with either the capsules or the drops then the short answer to this frequently asked question is no, however, let me explain. The Thinco program comprises of three phases. In the first phase you are allowed to eat any and all foods your heart desires, therefore in this phase you are more than welcome to cheat meals and cheat days. If you feel like a burger… have that burger with extra cheese! If you feel like an indulgent chocolate cake… go for it and why not add some ice cream? But once phase two commences everything changes.
In phase two, which only lasts a minimum of 21 days, the program follows a very strict eating regime. You are allowed chicken, turkey, beef, veal, goat, crab, lobster, prawns, a variety of white fish, eggs, vegan protein options and then specific fruits and vegetables. You also need to remain within either a 500 or 1000 calorie allowance, depending on which plan you are undertaking. Therefore, cheat meals cannot occur during phase two. You may actually be surprised to learn that one cheat meal can set you back 2-3 days. So, if you feel like a burger… wrap your choice of protein in some lettuce and get your hands dirty. If you have a bit of a sweet tooth, purchase the Orgasm dessert e-book, which is filled with healthy desserts you are allowed to eat during phase two, without ruining your hard work.
In phase three you are re-introducing certain foods back into your diet. You are allowed to consume the foods from phase two plus many more! Therefore you may not feel the need for a ‘cheat meal’ per say. But then again… if the cravings start to come, look at your approved foods list and create a healthier alternative to whatever it is you are craving. If you visit the “blog” section of our website we have numerous recipes and healthy alternative ideas available.
The answer in this article may have not been the one you were hoping for but just remember, the Thinco program is not forever. You have decided to undertake this program because you wish to lose a little bit of weight and regain some of your confidence. After you have completed the diet and you are flaunting your stuff in your favourite pair of jeans… go treat yourself to WHATEVER it is you were craving throughout the diet. Life is all about moderation.
